Pros of Our Mind-Blowing Stay by the River

The staff. the kindest most hospitable staff I have ever experienced. always smiling and ready to help. The hotel itself was very comfortable. simple and basic rooms but clean and comfortable and i missed nothing. the wi fi internet worked perfectly. Great location overlooking the Mekong. Not too much noise (that's true of Luang Prabang in general) restaurants, cafe's, shopping and other facilities close by.
I thought it was expensive compared with the many many other hotels available in Luang Prabang although I did not compare facilities offered. even compared to Vietnam it was expensive, but not exhorbitant.

This hotel is a great value for the money. The staff is lovely and pays attention to details. Its location is perfect, only 3 minutes walk from the night market and surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants. Rooms with long balconies give a nice view of the Mekong river. The breakfast options were great, especially the omelettes.
No negative aspects to mention, everything was good.

I had the most wonderful time at the riverside Luangprabang Lodge. The location was so charming, right on the banks of the Mekong River. My room was spacious and beautifully furnished with local wooden pieces. I loved the air conditioning and the refrigerator, which added to the comfort of my stay. The daily cleaning service was excellent, with fresh bath cloths and complimentary water. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing me with useful information and assisting me in arranging my next leg of the journey. The included breakfast was delicious and a great start to my day. I highly recommend this lodge for a delightful and memorable stay.

Spent my Easter break in a charming hotel situated right on the riverside, with an amazing view of a big river. The room was spacious, well-furnished and maintained daily including the courtesy water which was refilled in the room. The breakfast included was a plus, not common for places in Laos. The staff was so helpful and provided us with key information to tour the city effortlessly.
The only thing that was a downer was that the shower could have been cleaner as it showed signs of mold, otherwise the room was perfect.

This hotel is a great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. It is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the bustling night market. The staff are friendly and helpful, offering a warm welcome with a tasty fruit drink upon arrival. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a long balcony that offers a nice view of the Mekong river. The breakfast options are varied, with dishes like omelette and pancake served with a fresh fruit plate.
All was satisfactory, no major issues to complain about.

Staying by the river was nice, and there were plenty of great cafes up the river. the hotel was located close to everything, including local sights. the Mekhong river view from some rooms was a nice bonus. the breakfast was ok, with fresh fruit and a few options to choose from.
The room was quite old-fashioned and shabby, in need of maintenance. the bathroom was small and cramped, with an oversized bath taking much of the space.

The river view from the balcony was stunning, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. the breakfast was decent but could use some improvement. the location was convenient with many attractions within walking distance such as night market and local food stalls.
The room was not what we expected. the bathroom was outdated and not well-maintained.
